Michael Sharp, BCom, MBA — Chief Executive Officer / Co-Founder
Along with Michael Cannon and Joseph Leone, Mr. Sharp has been involved with NHI from the very beginning. After graduating Summa Cum Laude in his MBA program, Mr. Sharp continued his education in Finance, completing his Canadian Securities Course with Honours. He spent several years working in the finance industry in Canada, prior to founding his own Venture Capital firm. Mr. Sharp has extensive experience in Venture Capital. He ran his own VC company for more than 10 years prior to joining the NHI team. His knowledge of Venture Capital is matched by very few individuals over the past 30 years. As C.E.O., Mr. Sharp has guided NHI and their projects from inception to great success, and we anticipate seeing the greatest of our successes moving forward with Mr. Sharp at the top of our team. We are very pleased to have his unparalleled experience at the helm of the NHI ship.
Michael Cannon, MBA – Managing Director / Co-Founder
The brainchild of NHI-Coin Street was birthed by Mr. Cannon. Along with Michael Sharp and Joseph Leone, Mr. Cannon is one of the founders of NHI. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. As Coin Street is launched, Mr. Cannon is the ace in the hole. He is solely responsible for the development of the Cryptocurrency Exchange. Mr. Cannon has been a part of the NHI team from inception and it is his vision that will guide us into the future and beyond. Mr. Cannon has years of experience in the Crypto arena. It is his expertise that will ensure a successful launch of Coin Street.
Joseph Leone – Chairman / Co-Founder
Mr. Leone has 30 years of experience in Venture Capital, along with many years as a stockbroker. It is his history that has put him in the Chairman’s position. Although Mr. Leone does not have a day-to-day role in the operations of the company, his expertise is welcomed, and we entrust him to make the final decisions when necessary. Mr. Leone is semi-retired but attends all board meetings. We could not operate as efficiently without his input. Mr. Leone is intending to retire in the next couple of years, at which time a new Chairman will be appointed.
Tony Morrissey, MBA – Director of Investor Relations
Mr. Morrissey, a graduate of Stanford with honours in his MBA program, spent 30 years as a broker for Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. His understanding and expertise in taking companies public is unprecedented and he is an essential part of the success of NHI. He has been a part of the company since we launched and expects to continue with us for many years to come. Upon the retirement of Mr. Leone, it is likely that Mr. Morrissey will become the new Chairman.
James Clark, MBA – Investment Relations Manager
Mr. Clark, a graduate of the MBA program at University of Toronto, is one of the younger executives in our company. He has phenomenal ingenuity and exceptional social skills. He manages a large portion of our retail clients. Mr. Clark has been with us from the beginning, and we anticipate that he will remain with us for many years. Along with Mr. McCain, he is expected to be the future of NHI.
Caden McCain, BA – Investment Relations Manager
Mr. McCain, is the youngest of our executives. However, his skill set is impeccable. Along with Mr. Clark, we anticipate that he will be in one of the top positions in our company in the coming years. We are very pleased with Mr. McCain’s work ethic and look forward to many years of working with him moving forward.
Lisa Novikov, BBA – Administrative Manager
Ms. Novikov, a graduate of the Independent University of Moscow, is a very key person in our company. She oversees all administrative activity of the company, from bookkeeping to day-to-day administrative management. We are glad to have Lisa as part of our firm and anticipate that she will also be a part of the future of NHI.
Peter Day, MBA – Investment Relations Manager
Mr. Day has 40 years of experience in finance. He has worked in Equities, Asset Management and Foreign Exchange. His understanding of international foreign exchange markets is unparalleled. Mr. Day is an exceptional manager and deals with most of our European clients.
Steven Hill, MBA – Investment Relations Manager
Mr. Hill has 35 years of experience as an investment manager. He has worked with various firms over the course of his career. He joined NHI at inception and we expect that he will work with us until retirement. He is an excellent addition to the NHI team. He is responsible for managing most of our North American clients.
